Gave them his work address

I’m currently pregnant and In my state it allows the mother to apply for child support while pregnant but they won’t send out paperwork or assign a court date until after birth. I don’t know my child’s father’s address so I gave them his work address. They said they will mail it there. I haven’t heard from my child’s father in a month and I keep texting but no reply. I’m 3 months pregnant. I feel like he’s gonna curse me out and reach out once he gets the papers but am I out of line for giving them his work address?
