Nexplanon and babies

I have the nexplanon implant right now and have had it for just over a year. My partner and I have been talking and decided that instead of waiting a few years like we originally planned, we wanted to maybe start TTC within the next year or so. My question is, how long after removing the implant does fertility go back to normal? Google says a week but I want to hear actual experiences!!!
