Is it normal to bleed after your period? Or miscarriage

More context
My period is like clock work, 3-4 days then done. No spotting etc between
My partner and I stopped using any method of contraception last month.
No hormonal or physical contraception used.
No possibility of std
My period recently finished and then 3 days later I started spotting. Dark red, old looking blood. Stopped for a day and has now started heavier than the prior spotting.
Is this something I should see a doctor for?
