Am I wrong for thinking like this?

My sons father says he’ll only watch our son if I have to work, anything extra I want to do outside of my work schedule he’s not keeping him, he doesn’t provide anything financially for our son I provide clothes,diapers,milk even bottles & send with him, he doesn’t help pay for daycare or anything extra our son may need/want, I provide it all! I want to petition the court for visitation so that he’d be mandated to get our son idc if rotated weeks or weekends, him not helping financially means I have to work crazy hours & like any sane person I also require rest & breaks from my kids I love them dearly I do but life can not consist of only work & being mom. His mom does help & has been an angel but it’s not her job to fill her son’s role. I just feel like if I go to court he’s going to claim I’m just being bitter when in reality it’s nothing to be bitter about I just want help.
