You put it in the other way, kind of backwards. So the flat part is inside your nose and the hoop looks full

You're supposed to wear a stud first until it heals then you can wear a hoop. I had to go get my stud put back in because I got a nose bump from the hoop. My piercer said that it was too soon to change it into a hoop and that a stud was required. I now have a stud with a cork screw back so that it wont move and it can heal right. You don't want a keloid on your nose.

Yeah it's backwards I would wait for it to heal before switching unless you can deal with a little soreness.
