Toxic

So i need an opinion on something because im kinda lost on what i want to do. So me and my kids father live together. We were in a relationship together for 3.5 years. Until he told me that he only wants to stay for just the kids. And ended the relationship. When we were together he would save other womens pictures and nudes on his phone. Then i seen the comments that he would say to these women. So every since he told me that he didnt want to be in relationship i took that. So i have been talking to another guy and his so great. He has been showing me love and he would give me money when i asked him because he knew that everytime i would get paid i been broke because i have been paying for everything and the kids father doesnt help out. This new guy just spend over a grand me for my birthday. And this guy wants to get a place with me and my kids. He wants to get married and have kids. So what i need is should i leave the toxic place i am in with my kids father and get a place with this new men?
