Does Clomid lengthen cycle?

Question

This is my first month on Clomid. I went 50mg days 1-5 of my cycle. I’m currently on day 27 BUT my normal cycle is usually 24 days. Does clomid lengthen the cycle? I’ll also add I took a test today and it was negative.

I took Clomid days 2-6. It’s caused me to Ovu earlier. 3 days earlier. Is that ok? I was on Letzerol in the past and ovu as per glow prediction for the past 18 months. Maybe days 3-7 would be better if I need it next cycle… fingers crossed. Month 22 TTC so praying for this

Having a little longer than 24 day cycle can be a good thing. The medication could help with egg quality or quantity. Are you tracking ovulation? Progesterone checks, monitoring?

Clomid is usually day 2, 3 or 5. Day 3 seems to be the most common. You mentioned day 1. I presume that’s how it was prescribed.
