High heartbeat & having a boy?

We had our first visit today and I also turned 9 weeks today as well. Ive been sicker with this pregnancy than it seems that I was with our daughter. Also the sonographer said the heartbeat was 176. With my daughter's first appt, her heartbeat was 161 at 10 weeks... My husband and I are split on guessing what this gender could be and I would love to give him (and myself) hope. Has anyone else been sick in their pregnancy, had a high heartbeat, and still had a boy? Please share your experiences! ............also adding that Im fully aware the old wives tale is just what it is and there's no evidence backing it. But it's always fun to take a guess and talk to others about their personal journeys!
