When to wash baby clothes

Is 30 weeks too early to wash baby clothes? I guess you can say I’ve been nesting ( A LOT ) I’ve rearranged our whole house cleaning top to bottom inside & out. I started this about a week or two ago now all that’s really left is baby boys stuff. My mom keeps telling me it’s too early but im trying to get stuff done while I have the energy to do it. Most days im sluggish and sleepy but there’s probably 3 days out the week I just have a big burst of energy. I am waiting until closer to due date to wash bottles and pump parts & a little longer on 6 month+ clothing.
