Depo Shot!!!

ladies! im thinking of getting the depo shot as my main birth control method. I had the IUD (Mirena)  for a couple of months but i hated it. Couldn't stand the cramping and constant spotting! I tried the pill but i'm incrrdibly forgetful so it's really not a good choice. What are your experiences with the shot? do you like it?
