What’s a time a MALE doctor was the only one who listened?

Question

I will always use female doctors, however, about 4 years ago I was struggling with UTIs constantly when I was with my ex. My doctor, a woman, constantly told me it was something I was doing, and even thought it was an STD. 
I repeatedly told her I never got them before, and I thought it was my partner, as he used to”special soap” down there, despite me asking him not to, she insisted it was me “not peeing enough”
That last time I went before we broke up my normal doctor was gone, so I saw a man.
He listens, agreed with me it was him, and even shared a story about a couple who came in with the same issue. 
Lo and behold, after we broke up, I never got one again. 
Anyone ever have a similar experience where the male doctor believed you? Or did I just get a saint.

I see a male gyno! By far the best doctor I’ve been too, actually listens. Instead of the female gyno I’ve had in the past who kept ignoring my re occurring infection, eventually caused PID. Thankfully my new guy o caught it quickly and I’m okay now, we’ve gotten the reoccurring infections under control after 6 months of antibiotics. And a birth control change.

I love my gynecologist Doctor Mac he’s a man. Good looking older gentleman like a Jean Val Jean from Les miserable. He’s funny. We crack jokes the whole time. He’s soft spoken. So personable and welcoming. Takes his time. So helpful and informative. Gives you options. I look forward to seeing him. Explains everything without making you feel stupid. I tried another guy one day doctor loeb he was closer than my regular guy 5 minutes instead of 20 minutes away. Literally 2 minutes max he was in the office with me . Didn’t examine me. Called in a prescription. That was it. Didn’t order blood work. Never going back to him again. Gave me that hurry up and go vibe. Makes you appreciate my regular guy even more. I found him online from my insurance website and compared reviews  on health grade. I prefer word of mouth experiences.

I went to a female doctor for a suspected UTI once, instead of testing me and treating me for it she was convinced that I was pregnant. Because I’d had my son young, and I said yes when she asked if I was sexually active she decided that was the only explanation, even though I told her I’d just finished my period and couldn’t be. She dismissed everything I said and decided we were going to test anyway 🙄. Another female doctor when I did go in as a fully grown adult for a pregnancy test lectured me on safe sex like I was a child. I’ve personally never received that kind of judgement from a male doctor.

I was 11 months postpartum when I found out I was pregnant again. My first appointment my female doctor did an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat at 8wks. My doctor was so cold to me about it. She had done some other stuff to me during pregnancy with my daughter that I didn’t care for but at the time she was the only doctor I knew about since I was still new to the area. After she did the d&c I told my husband if I was to get pregnant I would find another doctor. 
A couple of later we found out we were pregnant again. This time we were also in the process of buying a house. Luckily I knew of doctor who was where we were moving to. I had used him with my daughter before we had to move. I went to first appointment with him. He had asked me about my daughter and my history. He listened to what I had to say. Then a few weeks later I had passed a good sized clot. I thought I was having another miscarriage. I had called his office to see if I could be seen that day. There was slot up and I took it. When I got to his office I had found out they accidentally double booked on day that was already my appointment. One of the nurses had over heard about what had happened and I guess she told my doctor. He squeezed me in that day and did any ultrasound. My son was just a moving all around. Couple of months go by and my bp started to creep up like it did my daughter. He gave me the choice to be induced or not. I chose to induce. Some complications on my son's end resulted in a c section. he gave me the choice to wait an hour or go ahead with c section. i chose to wait the hour to see if my son could get into the birth canal. 
I miscarriage right before easter. At my 7wk appointment he had notice that something was right possible. He tried to reassure me that i could have been earlier than we thought. he had me comeback in two weeks. by then i didn't progress like we had hoped for. I had also already start to bleed. he told me straight on what was happening again. however this time he was way more compassionate to me than my last doctor. i am 12 wks pregnant. he has listened to every concern and and all my complaining as this pregnancy has been the roughest one i have ever dealt with.

All of my doctors are male and they have ALL listened to me. I dislike female doctors due to childhood trauma.

I saw a couple doctors over the course of like 6 months about stomach pain and the fact that I was losing weight like crazy and severely underweight and they all said it was just anxiety. finally saw a doctor that agreed to give me an ultrasound and turned out I had gallstones and needed to get my gallbladder out right away. I don’t think it had anything to do with him being a guy though, all the women doctors I saw had dealt with my health anxiety before so I don’t blame them for thinking it was just anxiety lmao but I’m thankful for him listening to me
