Is anyone else’s family like this?? I’m not even really close with my family like that none of them visit me or message me they’re just on my social media. I’m in my mid 20s with my own place I take care of my own kids with their dad etc I have NEVER asked any of them for help none of them have even met my kids outside of holidays. Hell I’ve had my own place for 2.5 year and have never had a visit from any of them. But any time I share anything on social media about parenting being hard at times or looking for advice on something from other moms (because I’m not close enough to my family to ask them) if I vent just anything related to motherhood they always comment snarky little remarks saying that I “should have tied my tubes” or my bf “should have gotten snipped” or he “should have wrapped it up” or I “should have thought harder before I had kids” like ??? Never anything related to my post never offering advice just basically saying that because it’s hard sometimes that I just shouldn’t have had my kids. Parenting is hard asf right ? Of course it’s hard, I don’t know anyone who expects it to be easy? Why are moms not allowed to express that without being told they just shouldn’t have even had their kids? I’ve gotten to the point I don’t even react or reply to the comments anymore I simply delete them because I’m sick of it. Meanwhile I have 2 sisters and 2 cousins who all have more kids than me and not one of them are EVER told anything like that. They all post about their struggles with their kids and all my family members comment giving them support saying they’ll get through it etc and they’re doing such a good job they’re a good mom etc. They share stuff constantly about wanting more kids and my family always comments telling them they should and how much they love their kids and want to see them want them to come over like they only make comments like that to me about my kids and I have legit no idea why, it’s just getting annoying and I’m honestly about to remove all of them from my social media because of it😒
