I just wanted some advice on how you would feel about my situation with my in laws. I have never been close to them but when they needed help I was there for them and have always been respectful towards them. We had recently bought a miniature weenier dog. My in laws were quick to love this dog. We were going on a day trip 3 hours away and had them take care of our weenier dog. When we’re coming home they call us that there was an accident their German shepherd had attacked our puppy. Our puppy had passed away from the injuries but no one from my boyfriends family ever reached out to me and till this day have not talked to me about it. I understand that it was an accident and they didn’t mean for that to happen but I think as a normal human being you reach out and apologize for what had happened. I have not talked to them since he passed away and don’t plan on talking to them any time soon. Was it wrong for his mom, dad and sister not to reach out to me at all ?
