Not a rant, but couldn’t put this anywhere else that’s relevant.

We planted two small evergreen trees last year on different sides of our front porch stairs. They’ve both done really well, until about two weeks ago, I noticed the one on the right was suddenly starting to brown on the front side. We haven’t sprayed anything by it, we’ve been getting a good amount of rain lately so I haven’t needed to water it, and we don’t have any obvious pests that I’ve noticed. It gets decent sun, but not quite as much as its sibling on the other side of the stairs. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Is the tree salvageable?
