Pregnant?

So I’m a lil confused, so me and my so have been trying for a baby, my normal cycle is normally 30-33 days (usually 2 days early or 2 days late or right on time) this cycle I took an ovulation test when I was supposed to ovulate and it looked positive, about 1-2 days before i was due to get my period I took an ovulation test just for fun ig. It was blazing positive, so we had intercourse now I’m 12 days late and I’ve been having craps no period tho, I took a test yesterday and it was negative. So now my question is did I test to early or is it just negative?
