He used to have a huge thing for this girl before me, but they never dated they just were just close friends. She was going through her own self struggles is why she never gave in to him…

Both their families are very close & hang out almost every holiday or get together. He has still been in contact with her in & out throughout our relationship. (she has a bf) Since the beginning of us, I remember wanting to snap a pic of us to her bc she was on his recents. He quickly said “no no no” & snatched the phone away from me. He said she already knew about us because of a prior story he posted of us. So I said “what’s the difference between her seeing it & it being sent to her?” Basically asking what was the problem if she already knew. His response back was “no reason”.

So now, I’m a little suspicious of it. Because she tried to get at him behind my back at a family event we were at. (She still has her bf) But he didn’t really tell me right away, I had to force it out of him.. He’s shown me their message thread & she was spilling her boyfriend problems to him & they texted about their past on why they didn’t end up together in front of me.

Now, i’m just wondering if I should continue to be with him or how I should go about this…
