Question for all you pregnant mommas please help me if you can. Kind of long post but please help!

So every morning for the past week when I wake up in the morning I CANNOT pee. I strain and strain and only a couple drops come out and it is soooo painful. As the day progresses I can pee more and more each time until I am finally able to empty my bladder completely. I called my obgyn and he seems to think I may have a cyst in my urethra and wants me to go to the ER to be catheterized. I am 10 weeks pregnant with my second baby and this did happen with my first but it only lasted a couple of days not a week. So before I go to the ER and get a catheter I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else first and see what steps were taken to resolve it. Any and all help and advise would be appreciated.
