Small head?

So we went for a 34 weeks growth scan and baby is overall right on track BUT his head is measuring 1 percentile. My OB said he isn’t worried, it’s probably just genetics as my first baby was rather small too. During the scan, baby’s head was far down into my pelvis so I’m wondering if maybe the tech just couldn’t get an accurate read. Anyone else relate?!

All my babies were inaaacurate. All scans towards the end said they would be over 3kg but both came at 25kg and 24kg. Scans are not always accurate and when head is in your pelvis , it’s usually very inaccurate.

The further along you are, the harder it is to get an accurate measurement because baby is running out of room. They always felt my kids had “large” heads and by the last few, around 34-36 weeks, they were measuring but even told me that it wasn’t accurate because they’re being squished. And it wasn’t accurate for us, definitely measured too large all the way around (almost a pound off from birth weight and they were both born at 37 weeks)

Kind of a toss up. My first I had a 33 week growth scan (I hadn’t gained any weight during pregnancy to that point) and baby measured +90th percentile, they estimated her to be 8+ lbs at birth etc. she was born 6 weeks later and was 6lbs 14oz in the 11th percentile. 
My second I had a 36 week growth scan (high risk, polyhydroamnios, fetal anomaly etc) and they estimated again, 8+lbs, +90th percentile etc. she was born 3 weeks later and estimates were spot on. She was 8lbs 5oz, 22inches long. +90th percentile.
