Cute way to ask boyfriend to prom?

So I'm a junior and it's my first year to prom, and my boyfriend is a year younger than me so I have to ask him to prom and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on a cute way to do it.

I've seen people get wings with whatever kind of sauce your boyfriend would prefer and write "I'm just wingin it, but will you be my date to prom?" 
Also I've seen people do PROMposals that go along with their significant other's favorite shows!! Good luck!

I've seen a taco bell sign say "so-and-so lets taco bout prom" sounds a lil' bit better out loud but not much. But still very crony, but at least he was creative.

I have the same situation! I'm thinking about making a collage of all of the ugly faced snapchats that I've screenshotted throughout the years and I'm going to say, "I hope you'll look this good at prom with me"
