Any success stories?

Question

I had two back to back abnormal chromosome issues with my pregnancies resulting in termination. Do you think I need chromosome testing or I have issues with my eggs? I don't know if I should attempt to try to get pregnant again.  Is this just back luck of the draw? Don't know what to think? Anyone had success stories?

I would have testing done clearly something is wrong I wouldn’t want to get pregnant just to have another abortion

Was it the same chromosome issue both times or a different issue? If it was a different issue (such as trisomy 21 one time and Turner syndrome the next), it was likely bad luck and I’m so sorry. If it’s the same chromosome issue (both times Trisomy 21), you could ask about karyotypes for you and your partner, but it could also be by chance.

If it was me, I would have mine and my partner’s genomes mapped. If there is a dominant trait that’s causing bad chromosomal abnormalities, you may be forced to choose between more expensive methods (selective IVF with all embryos tested for the abnormality before transfer), or choosing a donor for either egg or sperm.
