You never really know… it’s a 50/50 chance. I’m dealing with almost the exact same thing. Had a sweep on Monday and bloody show/mucus plug for days. I have been contracting off and on ever since too. Last night I was contracting for almost 3 hours but then it fizzled out. We’re so close to the end. Good luck at your appointment Monday. If anything maybe you can get a 2nd sweep and that will progress into labor.

I got my sweep done three days ago and the next morning I lost massive amounts of my mucus plug and it was bloody too, it was reddish/brown so I believed that was my bloody show. But since then I have been consistently losing chunks of my mucus plug like every other time I go potty. So I’ve been losing blood tinged mucus plug since Thursday morning.
Do you think labor is really close or did you have a similar story like this? I’m 39 weeks on Monday and I have my next appointment then too.
