Proud of myself and so happy- mom of 2 children and one with special needs, back to 4 miler runs, gave up coffee, no more snacking and losing weight
After having 2 kids and one with special needs, snacking especially at night turned into a big problem.
I also developed bad bad hemorrhoids and all after giving birth to both our kids, had fissures after our first with 3rd degree tear. It was horrible. My digestion and all was bad before this but it just became worse and worse.
I decided to start taking renewlife probiotics and it’s worked wonders!! My digestion and all has never been better!
Started taking multivitamins, gave up coffee because too acidic and also read with sleep- can make things worse. I feel absolutely wonderful! I wake up and can get right out of bed. The initial weeks were tough.
I was a runner in high school and college. I started slowly working out again. I’m back up to 4 mile runs :)) after months of working up to it. I also go to physical therapy and chiropractor.
Stopped snacking at night and really checking how many chips and all I can eat per 100 calories. My son has fructose intolerance and ever since he was diagnosed from a breath test, I read all labels very carefully. We aren’t crazy about it (he has treats and junk occasionally) but even ritz crackers have high fructose corn syrup in them. Aldi and Trader Joe’s has healthier cheaper snacks overall- not processed bad ingredients.
I have one cheat night on Friday nights (still healthier chips, chocolate and maybe a soup because I love soup 🤣) and the other nights only fruit or carrots. I used to eat salami, ramen noodles, cheese and chips 😬 I love salt… it took me months to stop craving it.
Also gave up alcohol except celebrations, vacations, and date nights
We also got a special needs babysitter so we can have date nights. Balanced babysitting is the name of the company. That’s what I look forward to the most
I write this because today I got on the scale and was 135 down from 160! I’m feeling better than ever and watch out for me in 5k races!! Haha
