Does your due date always go off of your last period?

According to my last period I’d be 8 weeks along. (Last period may 26th). 
However I didn’t test positive until 10 days ago. 
Is this normal? I have a doc appt tomorrow, would they adjust this?

They will go by your lmp until you have an ultrasound then they go by whatever the baby measures to.

So if i was to go off my last period i would be 9W 2D. But im currently 8 weeks today. I had bad cramping so they had me get and ultrasound to see if baby was in my tubes. And baby measured a weeks and two days behind. They said i must of ovulated late.

I don’t have periods and I picked a random day to start my letrozole. So since I was tracking ovulation, I’m going by conception day

At first, yes. But your first ultrasound will give them a better idea of how far along you actually are, so when you have your dating scan, they’ll go based off of that. I have very unpredictable cycles, and would be 3 weeks further ahead than I currently am if they were going off of LMP. Currently 30 weeks pregnant, and baby is following that growth curve for being 30 weeks.
