Hey! I first went on birth control (the pill) when I was 15 bc of how bad my periods were. I would be bedridden for the whole week and almost had to repeat freshman year bc of how many days i missed. I’m now 19 and am still on the pill. I’ve been on many different brands throughout the 4 years bc of how bad my acne was. I get huge pimples on my period and zits all over my face even when I wasn’t on it. I’m not sexually active so I’m only on the pill bc of my acne. I’ve been thinking about getting the IUD to not worry about taking the pill in college but I’m worried about how my acne will react. My friend said it cleared her face but I’m not sure if those two correlate. Also I’m scared of the pain. Should I stick with the pill even though only on it for acne and it hasn’t helped it at all or should I try the IUD?
