Only see people I know when I look like crap 🤦‍♀️

The weirdest thing that has happened to me since I was literally a teenager….

If I put hours into getting ready. Hair, makeup, nails and outfit all thought out and carefully done. I go out to look “cute” and literally see no one. Just random old people out……

But the moment I decide to take a quick ride to the store or to get takeout and I’m in my glasses and just looking unkept…. I literally see 20 people that I know randomly….. it…. Never…… fails.

So many times I get dressed up and look like a movie star I don’t see anyone….

Just took a quick ride to get food with my cousin and saw my first boyfriend walking….. then saw like 6 different guys I went to school with. And I’m not even in my hometown Lmao.. I had a bandaid on my forehead from a curling iron burn 😊

Had I did my makeup and actually put time into my appearance and i wouldn’t have seen a soul that I know.

Not that I get dressed up for the only purpose of seeing old high school peers. It’s just a weird pattern that I’ve noticed for so long. It’s so annoying 😂

Funny how that works right? Am I the only one who this happens to? It’s honestly comical at this point. Because I’ve noticed this for YEARS now.
