Privacy concerns with my mother

I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 about two years ago. My mom tells all of her neighbors and friends that I have bipolar 1. I know this because I have unintentionally overheard her talking on more than one occasion. My dad has also told me that she tells people. First of all it’s none of their business. Secondly it’s giving me a complex to know that ‘everybody’ knows something I want private. I have a child and a husband and we live in the same town as her. It’s just not ok with me. I have told her not to tell people about my confidential medical information and she says she doesn’t, which is a lie. My husband just tells me to brush it off- but it bothers me. I guess I’m just venting at this point… thanks for reading.
