Am I going to lose my supply?
My anxiety is getting the best of me. I hope someone will take their time and respond.
I’m a little over three weeks postpartum. I pump 6-7 times a day, the gap between pumps ranging from 3 to 4:30 hours. There were a couple times I slept through my alarm and went over 5 hours without pumping.
My output per pump ranges from 12 to 7 oz and daily output anywhere from 50 to 60 oz. I usually get around 6 oz if I pump with less than 3 hours gap in between.
I was told that if I don’t pump every 2 to 3 hours, I will lose my supply. The issue is my schedule is already bordering my mental limit. I really can’t handle pumping every 2-3 hours. My whole day simply turns into a slave labor of pumping-feeding baby-washing parts and no time to spare for anything else.
(I’m on the husbands phone scrolling on TikTok while pumping. Promise I’m not a creep.)
