Telling my Long distance boyfriend

I have been suffering with bad uti’s , bv and sometimes I yeast infections for about a year now. Everytime I got a std test and it’s been negative however I decided to go to a different doctor, she decided she wanted to do a special testing for mycoplasma genitalium. I never heard of this. But testing came back and I am positive. How do I tell him. I mean it’s something that can live in your body without you knowing but I feel like he won’t trust me anymore. Idk I been depressed thinking about how I am going to tell him I have a sti and he does too. Advice ?
