So I’m a water dog and her Dad can’t swim lol My 3 year old will only go in water if I hold her and barely touch her toes in the water. She won’t walk in and I’ve tried floats, life jacket, puddle jumper I have to hold her the whole time. I love swimming and I’m scared she’ll never learn (obviously it’s also a great skill to have) her dad has said so many times how much fun he’s missed out on by not swimming. She took swimming lessons last year but a parent had to go in with her (I think she would do better if she was just with an instructor and not have us to cling to) I’m thinking I’ll put her in private lessons in September even tho it’s more money then I have. My question is this…has your 3 year old ever hated the water but then loved it later on?
