My boyfriend of 1 year said that he doesn’t really like when I go out for drinks with my friends, because he said that alcohol is hard to control. No matter how drunk I am, I never have thoughts of cheating or flirting with someone else. My boyfriend has cheated in the past, and some parts of me feel like he is projecting his insecurities on me. He said that he doesn’t want to go out to clubs or bars without me because he doesn’t know what is going to happen. It feels scary to hear that, like he has no self control. He claimed that when he drinks he isn’t fully aware of what he’s doing or saying, and that he doesn’t want to make mistakes. Is if fair, or does it seem like he has no self control?? I have also seen his head turn when girls walk past, not too many times though, but I can count it on both my hands… This all makes me worried that he doesn’t really find me that attractive and that he may not be that into our relationship. I don’t know what to do now
