My son turns one soon and I was starting to plan a birthday party but DH is shooting it down saying he doesn’t understand why we need to throw a party “for a one year old” implying that he’s only one and won’t even remember it. But to me it’s an exciting time for all our family too. I thought most people throw a first birthday party. Did you?
