Glucose test?

I had my glucose test done today for gestational diabetes  and it was 132 , the “ limit “ was 135. They’re not going to re test me and they were  way behind this morning at the doctors  office  so I didn’t have time for questions , I guess I’m wondering if there’s anything I should be doing diet wise since I’m so close to that number , or any advice? Cut back on sugar where I can or just don’t worry about it?

If you are concerned just eat more lean proteins and wlightly cut back carbs and sugar.

I’m guessing that was for the 1 hr test, if you pass you pass.. it doesn’t mean you are a risk for having GD. The one hr test is really just to determine whether or not you need the real test, which is the 3 hr & it’s far more accurate. The cut off is 135 for a reason, you could pass by one point & still be okay. Some drs even have 140 as the cut off. I wouldn’t worry. Around 20% of women fail the 1 hr & go on to pass the 3 hr.
