Looking for some hope. I went to the ER because I had a sharp pain on the left side to rule out ectopic. I have no bleeding or spotting, I should have been 5 weeks 5 days when I went (didn’t track ovulation). Doctor said I am having a blight ovum because he saw a sac measuring 4.7mm and he expects me to miscarry and my hcg numbers to decrease. HCG at ER was 3134 second check 2 and a half days later was 6495. Next ultrasound is Friday I should be 7 weeks 2 days. Anyone have a similar situation and have it be a misdiagnosis? I also have a retroverted uterus.
