I was in a situationship with this guy and we worked at the same place but separate shifts. I no longer work there and We split recently because I was over it. He was always “breaking up” with me, wanted my location and would always question me about it, wanted constant communication, didn’t like my friends or family, and he’s done a lot of fucked up stuff to me.

This girl he helped get hired and was his family friend told me that he had told not only her, but his whole family that he had feelings for me. And I do believe her just because of other convos we’ve had. But every time we would talk about it, he would say he didn’t want it. Not that long ago I posted something that mentioned dating a coworker and he specified to me that we never dated. I was like “whatever dude”. I ran into a worker from his shifts and when we were talking he was randomly like “oh Yeahh, didn’t you date (ex)?” And I said “why do you think that?” And he said “that’s what HE TOLD ME”. And said how one day (ex) was really sad at work and he asked him why he seemed sad and (ex) told him AND others that he was upset because we “broke up”. 🫥🫥 I also believe him because I don’t get how he would know, and they were friends.

But then I don’t get why he acts so distant WITH me but then acts/talks ABOUT me so positively?? And why he would be upset about us breaking up when he said he wanted it too?? The only thing I can think of is he did have some sort of feelings but didn’t put in actual effort because he knew I would accept bare minimum tbh
