Did I wait for him to text??

I’ve been talking to a guy but it’s been kinda inconsistent as we don’t text a lot. We have FaceTimed a couple times as well. We had made plans last weekend but then we decided to wait because he had work very early the next day. So we planned on this weekend after I got back from vacation. He told me to let him know what day works best for me. I told him any day of the weekend is okay with me. I haven’t heard from him since Wednesday so idk if I should text him and be like “hey I’m home from vacation, any day this weekend works well for me” or does that seem desperate?
