So my induction got moved up to August 15th due to cholestasis. Came in started getting prepped for the induction the 14th. Come the 15th when my water was meant to be broken it breaks on its own while getting an epidural. I’m put on Pitocin. I reach 5cm and stay there for the majority of the day. Baby boys heart rate keeps dropping. After a couple of hours of trying to change position to keep his heart rate up they finally approach me about a c section. With the way his heart rate kept dropping and with my liver not doing to good, they thought a controlled c section was a better option then waiting and possibly having to do an emergency c section(which seemed to be happening regardless of amount of time I wait, baby boys tolerance to the pitocin was not good) so after agreeing to a c section, my beautiful baby boy was born august 15th at 7:40pm 6pounds 10oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
