I got the copper IUD put in 2 days ago and so far so good! I didn't have any cramping and only a little bit of spotting afterwards. I thought I would feel for the string so that I know where it should be and how it feels, but I couldn't find it. I'm not exactly sure how far to go up? What should it feel like? Is it gone? Also, this is my first time getting an IUD. I'm kind of nervous. Especially since there are a ton of horror stories. I've never liked any form of birth control other than condoms. My husband and I just had our first little one 3 months ago and would like to wait a while before adding another to our family. Help!
