Anyone else?

Anyone not finding out the gender? We just found out we are pregnant with baby 6 and I really want to keep the gender a surprise BUT I am a huge planner so it goes against all my instincts lol. Anyone else do this? How hard was it? Did you buy clothes and stuff for both genders and take one back after?

Have 3 kids and waited each time. Best thing ever. The clothes we bought were mostly gender neutral vut thoae that weren't we still used. A baby girl doesn'tcare if she is in camo and a baby boy could care less if there is pinobor a unicorn on it. You only get so many truly amazingly.haopy surprises in life and this is the biggest. Plus my ob also keeps it from her and it isnt in any chart so my ob and all the nurses at the hospital were just as excited when i was laboring since it was fun for them too. Having my ob text her nurse at the clinic what gender the baby was had to be one of the coolest things since she has 3 nurses on her service so they all were excited too. If I had 10 babies would do it with all 10

We kept our 3rd a surprise until birth. I wanted to know. Husband didn't. We already had a daughter and a son and this was our last baby so he really just wanted to wait. So we waited. It was a lot harder for me because I really really wanted to know 🤣 I had a growth scan at 32 weeks (hubs stayed out with the older kids) and the tech had me look away just in case, and I was like ehh if I happen to see... And then baby gave me nothing 🤣 That's what I get for trying to be sneaky. After birth, literally on my chest, I straight up forgot we didn't know. It wasn't until 5 mins later when the stand in OB (labor was fast. 6 cm to pushing was like 15 mins) asked if we had a boy or a girl. Shoot, I haven't even thought about it. Hubs got to tell the room he was a little boy.

This is our 6th pregnancy past 17 weeks hopefully the fourth with us. The last 3 were high risk and we had weekly scans. I did not want to tell the tech every time that we did not want to know the gender. This time the blood group is compatible and the pregnancy is very relaxed. Now it will be a surprise :). Still have the baby clothes of the others with some small additions. That are neutral/boy and girl clothes. I buy everything 2nd hand out of principles. Until now not knowing has not been hard at all. Yes I am curious but it does not matter. We will have 3 daughters or two, just crossing fingers that the little one will be healthy. Now 36 weeks and not a clue what the gender will be. No indications, same symptoms/cravings… happy with it.

I am waiting again, and did it with our other two kids. It’s actually a lot more fun to wait. People will guess what you’re having, and your husband gets to announce it to the world when you deliver. It’s a special moment. It’s also not hard to buy gender neutral options for nb, then you buy more clothes once baby is born.
