My boyfriend of six years, with whom I have four children, made a comment that made me feel a certain way. He pays for dental appointments, and I am a stay-at-home mom. I have to go back to the dentist because a filling came out and needs to be fixed. It will be costly, but I am willing to help. His mom also needs his help with a plane ticket to the Dominican Republic and paying for her bottom braces, which have been on for over a year without being fixed. He paid for them when she got them, but she didn't tell him until they were put on. Well he made a comment like you and my mom always need something. I’m sorry I can’t go to work because you don’t want to pay for daycare and you don’t want me working. I would love to go to work. And I’m your partner and mother of your kids not your mom. He believes in taking care of his mom to and then he gets stressed out. I’m just venting.
