Should I tell my bf I have HPV

I’ve been with my bf for 3 years.

I got my last Pap smear a few months before we started dating 3 years ago. And that one came back normal.

I got my Pap smear done last week and it came back abnormal. I have HPV.

I think he gave it to me. But I don’t know. I had a bf before him as well.

My bf doesn’t understand this kind of stuff I think he’s gonna believe that I cheated on him or something or that I gave him the virus.

Idk. I’m just nervous to tell him. Even tho I didn’t do anything wrong.

Any advice ???
