TTC baby 1

I’ve been TTC for baby #1 for 6 months now. I’m 31 and both my husband and I are healthy, we did pre checks and thankfully all is good. I’ve been prescribed with gel progesterone and this month they found out my endometrium is thin (previous months it was thicker). The doctor said I can still conceive but she recommended starting to take estrogen pills since next cycle.

I’m getting worried this will never happen, is 6 months normal?
