Back in April 2020 i gave birth to my daughter - Lucy. I had given birth to 3 children prior and this birth was completely different to the others mainly because we were in lockdown due to covid. So this birth I was all alone besides 1 midwife that I'd seen the whole of my pregnancy. Anyway. I had been induced at the hospital nothing worked, except getting my waters broken. Around 8 hours passed in labour and I wasnt progressing past 6cm so I asked the midwife for some pain meds, she left me alone in the room to go source some and for the whole 2 minutes she was gone I had gone from 6cm-10cm and was crowing bearing in mind at this point I was completely alone in this room and I just left my body.. as in I was sat in the corner of the room nearest the ceiling watching myself on the bed shouting for the midwife. It was very bizarre and lasted all of 10 seconds but felt like an eternity. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
