Anyone over 40? Due Feb ‘25

Im deciding on how to announce but I keep going back + forth from being super excited to announce then my age hitting me + thinking I should be embarrassed. 🙈 I know that’s silly but it keeps happening. Anyway…. Over 40’s how are you announcing? I need inspiration.

I had my daughter at 41 and I’ll deliver my son at 43! After being told I’d never have babies! Congrats!!!! It’s the best time to have babies!

Turned 41 in July. I have 2 boys, ages 24 and 10. Will be 18 weeks this Friday and pregnant with a girl. I chose to have these gaps because it is what worked for me and my career. I told my 2 best friends at 10 weeks. My kids and my family at 13 weeks, and coworkers at 16 weeks. I think it’s really on your level of comfort. Screw the age factor. Do not be embarrassed. As the other commenter said, no one else will be paying your bills and be taking care of your kids. Be proud of your body and the fact that it is still able to carry a child naturally. I had 4 miscarriages after my 10 y/o, and thought that this was it for me, but God had other plans and He knew when it was really my time, AND He gave me a bonus, which was a girl. Share however you want to share and when you want to share. It is your life! Best wishes on your pregnancy! 💕

Are you excited about your pregnancy? If so, then announce it. It doesn't matter how others feel or what they think. They aren't birthing or raising this baby. Don't let others steal your joy bc of an expectation on how they may feel. Whether anyone likes it or not, the baby is coming. Embrace it and enjoy it! My God makes no mistakes, your age ain't nothing but a thing. I'm 29 with #6 on the way, my first girl at that. Back with #5 I cared what people thought and hid my entire pregnancy from the world. With #6 I straight up told everyone to kiss my behind. Bc if they ain't taking care of my kids, buying my diapers or paying my bills, their opinions on how many kids I have is irrelevant.
