I’m thinking about going on a date with someone even though I have a bf. I’ve communicated our issues and nothing is being done. I’m frustrated everyday, but don’t want to be lonely either plus he gets me out the house on weekends since I work from home. I felt terrible about the idea at first, but now it’s like if he doesn’t care about the relationship and my feelings why should I.

I know I’ll be judged. We live 1.5 hours away he use to consistently call me 3 times a day or more to check in, now it’s 1 time. I use to call on my break, but now when I call he’s always busy and has to go. When I bring this up he ask why I don’t call, well when your basically getting rejected you stop. I don’t do well with inconsistency and we only been dating months. Am I entirely wrong?

Edit: I only expect the calls because that’s what he started with! He was the one calling me. Yes I expect more than one call atleast. He calls be an he before he goes to bed(9:30/10pm) which barely leaves room for convo and he only does this because he wants to go to bed on the phone so it “seems like we are together”. We are 1.5 hrs away from each other and only see each other on the weekend for a few, so yes I expect more than 1! He was doing it before.
