Too much time/Rant

My boyfriend has told me before that we hang out a lot. Yet doesn't say he hates it a lot. So I hangout less with him to give each other space. I can understand that, yet when I don't call, text, or visit him, he ask my why I'm don't I come over. Or when I stay at his place, and I eat by myself, shop online, or do some hobbies away from him, he'll call me to do whatever I'm doing near him.
