Constipation + bleeding

16 weeks tomorrow, for the last two weeks I’ve been having rectal bleeding on and off. I’m constipated and feel a little pressure.

I was told I should have an exam but they only have male providers, I’ve never had an issue with having a male provider.. my OB is male.

The thing is that I was SA’d as a child and it is still something I am trying to heal from. I feel ridiculous and angry because I’m ashamed, I am 34 but I ended up having a panic attack today when they told me I needed a rectal exam and there are no female providers. I have tricare so my medical care has been pretty limited to the military hospital, I’ve been calling around trying to find a female physician.

Any other mommas experience anything like this with constipation and bleeding? I’m always drinking water but I am drinking even more fluids and eating more fiber but it’s not helping.
