Beta blocker

Hiya all! Expecting #3 as a bit of a surprise. I had some scary health issues earlier in the year and have been on a low dose beta blocker since. My OB advised I can stay on it however I’m experiencing awful pressure and pain in my head by the afternoon- distinctly different than just a straight up headache. My BP doesn’t always clinically present as high, even when I had atrial fibrillation in March.

If you are/were on a beta blocker during pregnancy, was it increased to help avoid hypertension? I’m pretty terrified that I’m only about 8 weeks (approx, awaiting dating scan) and already feel this badly with BP.
