Birth control

So im currently taking blisovi and i started having irregular periods so my ob is changing my birth control to zovia. I just read some of the reviews online and boy am i extremely hesitant to start taking this medication. The side effects are horrible. Do i just stay on my blisovi and deal with it or do i start over abd try zovia and pray that i dont have the side effects....help! My other option is trying an IUD but i hear thats painful and has side effects also...im aware all medications have side effects but geeze. I just want a normal period, once a month. I dont even care if its heavy.
