Was she acting ungrateful or am I reading her wrong?
Took my kiddos out for new shoes today! My daughter is older, and has a bigger variety to chose from. She immediately went to the men’s section and looked at Air Force ones high tops. The worker told her they were men’s size and didn’t come in a size for her feet! She’s in a size 6 1/2 Y. No big deal, or so I thought.
We originally went in for the panda dunks because that’s she’s been asking for for a while now! She throws a big attitude, arms crossed, glaring at the men’s section. I informed her again, that they didn’t have any small enough for her feet! I told her we are there for the panda dunks since she’s been begging for them. She crosses her arms again, sighs and walks off. I told her if she didn’t want the panda dunks, she’s more than welcome to grab something else, but not forces because the last ones she had tore apart very quickly with her! She stayed her distance and had her lips tight, eyebrows cocked to the sky, arms crossed, and eyes wide. The worker even seen the attitude change! I finally told her to either pick some shoes, or go to Walmart for some! She picked the panda dunks…. I told her I’d buy her some more next pay check. These shoes were already $115 before tax. She finally said “when is your next check.” I almost lost my shit! Like why can’t you just be grateful for what you got? Why give me issues?
Her brother…. Found a pair he liked, tried them on and picked them! They was $39.50. Not a single complaint. He was quick and easy to deal with.
Daughter is 13 in November, son is 8.
