Long story sorta short I’m having my first girl after three boys and I have a particular style my MIL knows this and also knows I’m short girl clothes so she said let’s go to Walmart so we can buy some outfits. I agreed bc my husband isn’t big on shopping so I already have in mind what I like and I show her bc when some one takes you to pick out some outfits i assumed I’d have a say. But she said she didn’t like the onsies I picked out one said “mamas mini” in a nice muted pink and brown letters(I’m not a fan of bright pink or any of that neither is my husband). She told me that the baby wasn’t going to be my mini and why would I want other onsies with giraffes that it was ugly and picked out a white onesie with bright pink and blue print on it and got upset that I said I didn’t really like that I liked the ones I picked. She then said “what if you get gifts you are going to just say you don’t like them and throw them away” and I said no. I wish I would’ve said I’m happy to take any gift I get but if you take me with you I assumed you wanted my opinion on how I would like to dress the child I’m going to give birth to right?
